Unknown things about me...

(If it's unknown no one could ever know!)

I'm a pharmacist. (Real one, with real skills and permits!).

I'm afraid of heights, not panic, but feel real uncomfortable, in unprotected environments.

I'm (was, more precisely), skilled diver. Even teach several diving courses, including one to Bombeiros Voluntários de Sesimbra some time around the 90's . My most deepest dive was at 72,5 meters in the Setubal shore. I have the story somewhere.

I've done the 3rd and 4th Portugal Lés-a-Lés run in motorcycle. The first was from Portimão to Bragança and the other from Monção to Faro. It was fun. I give up by the time they spilt de rum in two legs. What was really nice was the 24 hours run, not the voyage by it self. Two legs and the challenge becomes simply a two day long voyage.

The first time I tried real high speed runs was in the A2 just out side of Ourique gas station heading north in a rainy lunch hour. I was so afraid that as soon as the marker slightly overlaps the 200 figure on the speedometer I have consider it has been achieved and stopped pushing the thruster. Considering that real life speedometers indicate high than real speeds I was speeding at most at 180kmH. But that was fun. I think...

The higher speed done, was in the Vasco da Gama Bridge, one Thursday night heading to Alcochete to the weekly coffee gathering of Clube Varadero de Portugal. I was pushing it out of a Mercedes Benz SUV's and at a glimpse to the speedometer, (I was so scared that couldn't look any further), reveals something over 220KmH. It was not fun...

I've never, but never, opened a Insurance process for an accident I have been the cause. All my accidents, until today of course, are small accidents, and in all, I was not the responsible, or are so small that it was cheaper to pay from my pocket the damage.
