Suporting (Mondeo version)

Ok, this bloody thing is to use in the car. So, some kind of car placing is needed. Enough near to be usable and far enough not to get in to the driving area. Some spots were tried but the best, until today, was in the central console, just in the up place, far from the steering wheel and main gear pad.

I was the local “blacksmith” to make me a small peace of folded steel that I place in between some car elements over the radio.

A have drilled some holes, both in the steel and in the Extended Board, placed some pads to absorb environmental or driving vibration.

And gone for a ride.

It behaves well, just need to improve the vibration control. At certain speeds the Libretto shakes accordingly with the car… But It seems that this could be easily controlled.

The Libby project enters the final working, and useful, conditions.

This is the place were the steel piece enters the suporting place.

Full inserted and ready to work. Just needing to be connected to the lighter and then switched on.

Could be easely operated by both, driver and copilot.

Ozi on, moving map on, everything on!

Next project will be a Discovery Fitment.
